The  Bumble Bean®, with patent pending, is  designed  after careful research by a Mom who was looking for a solution for her baby with a prefered posture and therefore leaning to one side in het stroller and buggy. After a long period of research with extra research in prefered postures and flat head syndrome  (Deformative plagiocephalie), and in coöperation with a childrens fysical therapist is the Bumble Bean disigned in such a way that the support is excactly at the right place and give only support where needed and don't give any presure on other places.®  By using the  polystyrene pearls the baby determins with her or his bodyweight where the support will be and therefore will receive the support needed to lie or sit straight.  

The Bumble Bean works preventive and corrective. Therefore the Bumble Bean is recommended by childrens fysical therapists. Ask your therapist about it.

Safety

The most important: The Bumble Bean is ment to be used as a support cushion in a stroller, buggy or bouncer and is not intended to be used as a mattress in a baby's crib or bed. The baby is never to be left alone when he or she is sitting or lying in the Bumble Bean

The Bumble Bean is made out of 100 % cotton and is breathing, wich is very comfortable for the baby. The  Bumble Bean is filled with  polystyrene pearls, also known as expanded polystyrene wich have a CE mark . There pearls are safe and non toxic and above all hypo allergic. They cannot absorb any fluids and also dustmites or other dust particles cannot find a home here.

The Bumble Bean is made out of 2 layers of fabric, an outer layer and an inner layer wich holds the pearls. All outer seams are double stitched and even the buttonholes and the press studs have extra stitching to give extra security. Nevertheless it is important to take extra care of your Bumble Bean to avoid accidents. Do not let any animals sleep or play on the cushion in order to keep it clean and in one piece, because of their sharp nails.

 The Bumble bean is also for you child(ren) not a toy. And is to be treated with care.

The  Bumble Bean can only be washed with luke warm water and is to be line dried. No washing machine or tumble dryer!! 

If the Bumble Bean begins to show the first signs of wear down, please do not use it anymore, because of the safety of your child.

The Bumble Bean has  5 ‘buttonholes’ to be used for the safety belts that are on the stroller, buggy or bouncer or any other transport that you use the Bumble Bean in.The safety belts are to be used at all times.
